Directions & Parking:  The site for Walk-n-Roll 2017 is Peacock Meadow in Golden Gate Park.  Peacock Meadow is located just east of the Conservatory of Flowers (see map).  Weekend street parking within the park is available but limited especially on Sundays.  On Sundays John F Kennedy Drive is closed to vehicle traffic between Kezar Drive and Transverse Drive.  This includes the road in front of our site.  Parking in the Music Concourse garage costs $6.00/hour ($33.00 maximum).  Access to the north entrance of the garage is from Fulton Street at 10th Avenue and access to the south entrance is at Music Concourse Drive and Martin Luther King Drive inside the park.  From the garage walk east on John F Kennedy Drive 0.5 mile to Peacock Meadow.  Look for our signs!  Plan to arrive at the garage no later than 9:00 am to allow enough time to reach Peacock Meadow for the start of the event.

Walk Route:  Our walk will begin at Peacock Meadow and proceed west on John F Kennedy Drive for a distance of 1.2 miles to Rainbow Falls.  We will pause briefly at the Conservatory of Flowers for a group picture.  Other stops such as Stow Lake are optional.  We will return to Peacock Meadow along John F Kennedy Drive for our post walk festivities.
